Fan Content Policy
Soulbound Fan Content Policy
At Soulbound, we deeply value our community and the incredible creativity it brings. Whether you're streaming, drawing, modding, remixing music, or making merch—we’re here to support you. This policy is designed to be relaxed, fair, and pro-creator. We want to help you bring your love for Soulbound to life, responsibly and respectfully.
1. Why This Policy Exists
We know fan content can be confusing legally. This policy clears the path for what you can and can’t do with Soulbound’s intellectual property. Our goal: empower creators while protecting the world we’re building.
2. What’s Covered
This policy applies to in-game content from Soulbound.game, including:
Game art, screenshots, audio, dialogue, characters, and storylines
Avatars, UI, environments, and lore
Gameplay footage, streams, and in-game experiences
This policy does not cover:
Source code or underlying game software
Soulbound or Web Technology Limited logos and trademarks (unless permission is granted)
Blockchain smart contracts or protocol code
3. What You’re Allowed To Do
If you follow this policy, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-commercial, revocable, non-transferable licence to make and share fan content. That includes:
3.1 Content Creation
Streaming Soulbound on platforms like Twitch and YouTube
Uploading videos and clips with commentary, overlays, or edits
Creating fan art, fan fiction, and in-world lore extensions
Making remixes or covers of in-game music (without using original tracks)
3.2 Limited Sales
We love handmade merch and want to support creators. So:
We don't mind if you sell 100 units of a fan-made product per design (including physical goods like prints, keychains, or hand-painted items)
Production must be by hand or via a small third-party factory run (no print-on-demand platforms)
Each version must be visibly distinct (e.g., size, shape—not just colour)
Clearly state "Fan-made, unlicensed item. Created under Soulbound’s Fan Content Policy."
We will not object to this kind of limited, good-faith community merch.
4. What You Can’t Do
You may not:
Sell mass-produced or print-on-demand items using Soulbound content
Claim your content is officially licensed, endorsed, or affiliated with Soulbound
Create or sell NFTs or blockchain assets using Soulbound IP
Host private servers or recreate the Game’s code or gameplay
Use Soulbound IP in hateful, or discriminatory content
Imitate or replicate our website, branding, or game interface to mislead others
5. Credits
All fan content must include this notice (in video descriptions, product pages, or readme files):
"Created using Soulbound content under the terms of the Soulbound Fan Content Policy. This content is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by Soulbound."
6. Ownership and Rights
We retain full ownership of all Soulbound intellectual property
We may revoke your licence to use our content at any time for any reason
By publishing fan content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to showcase, repost, or reference your work in our community channels and marketing
7. If You Break the Rules
If your content breaches this policy:
We’ll usually ask you to fix or remove it
If you don’t comply, legal action may follow
Repeated or serious breaches may result in bans or DMCA takedowns
We try to avoid copyright strikes unless necessary. We want to work with you—not against you.
8. Need Clarification or Want Commercial Rights?

9. Legal Framework
This Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
10. Updates
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. If you continue making fan content after changes are published, you agree to the updated terms.
